![]() ![]() When you think that leading the church cannot be done, Jesus is the Head overseeing the Body in ways that only he can.ĭuring this month of pastor appreciation take a few moments each day to “Be still and know that God is God” and that he has you, your family and the church you shepherd in his hands. Please know that when things don’t seem possible, God can do the impossible. ![]() The Apostle Paul reminds us that “He can do all things, but only through Jesus” (Philippians 4:13). You deserve a hearty pat on the back and a huge personal “Thank You!” Yet here you are still standing, still leaning on Jesus and participating with the Holy Spirit. From coming up with fresh sermon ideas every single week to being responsible for the administration and spiritual care of congregations, pastors dedicate significant energy and time to their calling. In 2022, Pastor Appreciation Day day will be observed on October 9th. Pastor Appreciation Day falls on the second Sunday of October. There’s also a day specially dedicated to honoring your pastors and clergy. The struggle through the pandemic has tested and stretched you in ways that none of us could anticipate. October is Pastor Appreciation Month and there’s still plenty of time to show the leaders of your congregation what their work means to you. The entire month of October is designated as Pastor Appreciation Month. I appreciate you, respect you and pray for you often. We honor you and thank you for your service. ![]() Thank you to all our pastors who reflect the character of our Creator God in the ways they engage, equip, empower and encourage their members and neighbors. Some say Pastor Appreciation month is a branch off of Clergy Appreciation Day which is celebrated annually on October 10th. ![]()
